The governor training workshop is on the effective utilisation and monitoring of the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding. Section 5 OFSTED inspections place the use of this funding under effective leadership and management making it imperative that governors understand how this funding should be used within their school, schools will be increasingly held to account by Ofsted regarding this. The workshop aims to give governors the knowledge and understanding needed to monitor and evaluate the spending of Primary PE and Sport Premium effectively within their schools, ensuring it maximises impact and contributes to whole school improvement.
