PLEASE NOTE: THIS COMPETITION CONSISTS OF THE FLOOR AND BODY MANAGEMENT ROUTINES ONLY.

This gymnastics competition designed for NOVICE gymnasts in Yr 1/2 who are taking part in less than an hour per week at a registered British Gymnastics Club and have not been a member of a club in the last 2 years. However this year we can accomdate due to bubbles entering but points will be deducted at the start based on the teamsheet and number of experienced gymnasts

All the resources needed to prepare children for the competition have been attached.  Children could prepare in Gym lessons or at an out of hours club. The routines at this level are very accessible for staff and children to prepare.  Please view the attached cards.

Teams are to be comprised of a minimum of 6 maximum of 8. But remember you can enter mutliple teams if you are doing this in PE lessons.

The highest scoring 6 will score. Teams can be the same sex or mixed.  To encourage the inclusion of boys in the team there will be a 0.5 points bonus added to the overall team score for each boy included, to a maximum of 1.0 point. 

The highest scoring 6 gymnasts from each team out of the two disciplines (Floor and Body Management will count towards the overall team total.
