Last week WSW SSP and Badminton England ran a badminton festival for year 3s and year 4s at Westgate Leisure Centre. From 7 different schools 56 children participated and 10 Sports Leaders from The Regis School helped run the festival smoothly. The festival was run in a Badminton England format as a Bizzie Badminton Festival using the racket pack. All children that participated showed amazing improvement over the day and had fun in mixed groups, where they were able to make new friends from other schools. A big thank you to The Regis School Sports Leaders who were brilliant and well organised the whole day.
